Reports to Operations Manager
Job purpose
To Commission, service, maintain and fault-find as necessary, all Enterprise security systems under contract with the company and other companies within the group.
Duties and responsibilities
To commission, service and maintain all Enterprise security system, Access Control, Door Entry, Intruder Alarm, CCTV systems and other associated systems to the required standards and regulations.
On occasion, to assist in the installation of small-works orders of all applicable systems to the required standards and regulations.
On occasion, to conduct site surveys in conjunction with a project engineer; giving due consideration to all applicable security and fire risk factors.
To carry out any other job specific duties as deemed appropriate by your line manager .

Skills and Experience
• To have experience in the servicing and maintaining of enterprise security solutions, Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarm Systems and other associated equipment to the applicable British and European Standards and knowledge also of all relevant BAFE/NSI codes of practice.
• To service, commission and repair Enterprise security solutions, Access Control, Door Entry, Intruder Alarm, CCTV systems and other associated systems to the required standards and regulations on various sites around the UK which can include military establishments and sites that carry out animal testing.
• To be conversant with the products and systems installed and with any significant limitations inherent in such products and systems.
• To have the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
• To have the ability to fault find and resolve issues in a logical manner.
• To have good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and complete service call-out documentation.
• To have the ability to work creatively and innovatively dealing with core issues with customers.
• To have the ability to form good working relationships with colleagues, customers and outside bodies.
• To have the ability to understand and disseminate specifications and technical drawings.
• To be able to display initiative and to have strong attention to detail.

Working conditions
Working in HKE office as well as various client and construction sites around the Netherlands. Work can be in and outside locations and include military establishments and animal testing sites.
